Bookmarks, buttons and bar hopping

The Bookmarks menu and toolbar button are back, newly implemented on top
of the database backend. Being more annoying than useful, the Homepage
was removed from the Bookmarkbar – it can still be added via the Toolbar
Editor extension to appear in the navigationbar.

The location arrow button can again be used. As a bonus, the Delete key
can now be used to delete individual pages that show up in completion.

The user script and style handling has become a little bit more
comfortable by making it easier to add, edit or delete files from the
panel toolbar.

I appreciate any effort towards the development of a lightweight web browser. Midori is my favorite so far!. I am really sick of Firefox & Iceweasel bloatness!!.

Keep up with the good work!.

As I noticed, still some problems with stability (crashes) is present since 0.2.6. These crashes related to some extensions turned on, I suggest that it’s “User addons” or “Ad blocker”.

Is it command line options supported by Midori already ?
(I ask because my future request was deleted…)
Could you link me to the full list of command line options(for win32), please ?
I need to find profile and plugins location settings specifications…
    Thank you!

DNS prefetching is built-in in current versions, have a look at the extensions for a cache.

I really like midori, it’s my favorite browser and I use it a lot, but I think it would be great if there was an option to enable keyboard browsing, like vimperator[1] for firefox or vimium[2] for chrome

I love the “Show last tabs without loading” option.
    Thanks for you work!

(Though I have lost a lot of my bookmarks. 🙂 Anyway I’ve “bugreported” it.)

Work on the Windows build has not stopped, but it takes a lot of time to prepare because the whole set of libraries and any problems have to be resolved by one person. Any help would be appreciated.

I love midori however there is one problem: It does not have javascript support to allow viewing BlackBoard webpages (the university class system and interface for students). Could you look into that?

The bookmark button is back along with many other improvements. Thanks!

BUT when you rename a folder with bookmarks in it are removed links!

That would increase the scale necessary to Ctrl ++ to change to Ctrl+= and then works Ctrl++. It’s time to fix!

Awesome! Everything working out thus far, no glitches or bugs. Thanks for bringing back the bookmarks menu.

Thanks a lot for bring back the bookmark button, Mister Christian Dywan /

I understand your point of view, of the side pannel importance. But sometimes some visual elements are important, when the user are away from keyboard (only mouse navigation, with left hand free)

    Thanks for Perfect Midori work
    Hugs from Brazil
